One Step At a Time

No matter where you are in your life, remember, if you need to make any changes, you can. Just take one step at a time. If someone is not there for you, find someone else! All of us, at times, need someone to help us with encouragement, prayers, and sometimes, just to sit quietly and give you a hug. Carter gives great hugs, unfortunately, they weren't enough for Heather, in her mind. No matter what we said, she still didn't believe that there was any hope. There is always hope! We would have done anything for her. But do you know what? If you think there is no hope, there is someone there with you that would do anything to keep you with them! Remember that!

My book is starting to take off. Each new read is a little hard on me because I do value my privacy, but lives that can be saved are worth more than any privacy issues I may have. Each day we hear more stories, lives lost, but more important, we hear stories of lives saved! Together, we can work together to get more saved than lost.

What can you say when you don't know what to say? Share our story! I know that Heather's story has already saved lives, but there are so many more to save! Share it wherever you can! You don't always know who is hurting. One of the most common traits is that those suffering the most hide their pain from those that could help them!

There are so many causes, it's hard to know where to start. Abuse, Bullying, Financial, Chemical Imbalances, Environmental, the list goes on. I know Heather didn't think she was worth it. I have 4 words for you. You Are Worth It! Please let everyone know that they are worth it. If you feel you need to drown your problems in alcohol, you are worth it! Put down the alcohol and know that there are people that love you and will help you with anything! Want to hide in drugs? Same thing! Put down the drugs and know that there are people in your life that will help you!

If you can't think of anyone that knows you are worth it, search on! I'm not a counselor and don't profess to be, but if you are hurting, you can always contact us on the form on this site and we will do our best to help you! Contact us on our Facebook page. There is a world of hurt out there, so we have to let our friends and family know that there is also a world of love standing behind them.
